Crawford Cares 2018 Voting Begins for Dubuque Nonprofits
October 29, 2018DUBUQUE, IA - The 2018 Crawford Cares program is underway. Crawford Cares gives back to the Greater Dubuque Area. Crawford Cares is making a positive impact in the local community by honoring local entities with personalized awards, recognition and charitable donations.
After receiving 24 nominations for the 2018 program, voting has begun to determine the three finalists for 2018. Between now and November 4th individuals may vote for the nominated nonprofits. The three organizations with the most votes will be announced November 5th. A panel of judges will review the three finalists and determine a first, second and third place. The overall winner receives a $1,500 charitable donation and runners up will receive $500 each.
Live Like Jack was the overall winner for the 2017 Crawford Cares program, while Scholastic Engineering Research (SERI) and New Vienna Tractor Pullers Association claimed runner-up honors.
