Crawford Cares 2017 Voting Begins for Dubuque NonProfits
September 11, 2018DUBUQUE, IA - The 2017 Crawford Cares program is underway. Crawford Cares gives back to the Greater Dubuque Area. Crawford Cares is making a positive impact in the local community by honoring local entities with personalized awards, recognition and charitable donations.
After receiving 16 nominations for the 2017 program, voting has begun to determine the three finalists for 2017. Between now and December 3rd individuals may vote for the nominated non-profits. The three organizations with the most votes will be announced December 4th. A panel of judges will review the three finalists and determine a first, second and third place. The overall winner receives a $1,500 charitable donation, 2nd place receives $500 and third place receives $250.
Special Spaces Dubuque was the overall winner for the 2016 Crawford Cares program, while Loras College Dance Marathon and Research for the Kids claimed runner-up honors.
